about

Inspired from Maurice Sendak's childrens' book and Warner Bros.' film "Where the Wild Things Are." Was going to have lyrics, but time fell short and had to cut it out, D;

lyrics

Didn't make the cut, but here's what they're supposed to be:

A troubled kid
In wolf's skin
Rebellious
A lonely mess

A Wild Thing!
she says so mean
I'll Eat You Up!
That's Enough!

Punishment on an empty stomach
A wild wolf escapes moonstruck
He braves the night, and follows his heart to
Where the Wild Things Are

In a land of endless trees
An island that never sleeps
Where the oceans never freeze
A place where the Wild things creep

This boy fears not of things
He stills, such giant beasts
They crown, this wolf as king
A leader for eternity

Monsters towering 10 feet tall
Yellow beaks, giant teeth, two webbed feet
striped torsos, and hair more-so

What would you do
If given the chance to do what
You wanted to
in a world you created to be
Free
From reality
To rule this land
Because you can, Because you can

Let the wild rumpus start!

They howled the moon
'Til afternoon
They swung from vines
They paraded lines

They built their forts
Held dirt wars
Slept in piles
These things were wild

Though this boy was still angry, he
sent the Wild Things to bed hungry
Though he was a king, he was lonely
He wanted to go home
He wanted to go home
He wanted to go home
He wanted to go home

What would you do
If given the chance to do what
You wanted to
in a world you created to be
Free
From reality
To rule this land
Because you can, Because you can

BE STILL!

This boy, runs viciously
Through forests, of endless trees
This wolf, howls endlessly
For home, beyond the sea

They cry, "Please Don't Go"
They call, "We love you so"
But this boy, says bluntly "No"
The things, they trembled so

Creatures skyscraping the tree tops
Sharp horns, Mighty thorns, Fur all torn
Monsters towering 10 feet tall
Yellow beaks, giant teeth, two webbed feet
striped torsos, and hair more-so

What would you do
If given the chance to do what
You wanted to
in a world you created to be
Free
From reality
To rule this land
Because you can, Because you can

This wolf, lost his skin and
Only a boy was left; when
He got home, his dinner was
Still hot waiting and for him
